estuary is a place where river joins the sea usuallly call the mouth of the river in this area fresh water with no salt content from the river is mixed with sea water with high salt content .
when the wave action is strong or during high tide large amount of sea water mixes with river water in fact sea flows deep into the water .
during low tide and when the wave action is weak less amount of seawater mixes with river water .
because of this salt content of the water is estuary changes very rapidly .
animals living in the estuary should tolerate and adopted to Rapid changes in the salt content of water
