Estuary:
 a. They are sharp edged mouth of rivers without any deposits.
 b. Generally formed in areas experiencing high tides and areas with rift valley.   c. There are no fertile land in an estuary.
d.two rivers of India which make estuaries are river narmada and river tapi.

An estuary is a partially enclosed coastal body of brackish water with one or more rivers or streams flowing into it, and with a free connection to the open sea. Estuaries form a transition zone between river environments and maritime environments known as ecotone.

These rivers make delta at their mouths. The Narmada, Periyar and Tapti are the only long rivers, which flow west and make estuaries.
