Histogram is approximate representation of distribution of numerical data
Histogram is the distribution of data while bar graph is used to compare data

Main difference between bar diagram and histogram:
Bar diagram:
- It's 1 Dimensional
- Only length of bars is considered while comparison
- Width between 2 bars is always kept the same
- Width between a single bar is always equal
Histogram:
- It's 2 Dimensional
- Height and width of bars both are considered while comparison
- There no width between two bars.
- The width between a single bar depends on the range of class interval.
