★ Ideal Fuel :

A fuel which fulfills all the criterias of being a good fuel like :

  • Moderate ignition point
  • High calorific value
  • No liberation of harmful gases
  • Etc.

That doesn't harm anyone or anything but is very useful .

Characteristics of Ideal Fuel :

  • High calorific value : The amount of heat liberated during complete combustion .

  • Moderate ignition temperature : The temperature at which the Object burns at catches fire . If it's less it will catch fire anytime and anywhere but if it's high it won't catch or may take a lot of time . Hence moderate ignition temperature is preferred.

  • Should be safe to use

  • Should be convenient to store

  • Should be cheap and easily available

  • Shouldn't produce any small cal toxic gases and should have less Ash and moisture content as its output .

Answer :-

Ideal Fuel = Ideal fuel is a fuel which is eco - friendly in nature and produces enormous energy in less quantities without waste of energy in combustion. It basically is suited with, 'More in less' tag which means getting something more in less quantities.

Ideal Fuel also is safe to use with large availability in nature.

Characteristics of Ideal Fuel are :-

Cheaply Found = An ideal fuel should be cheaply available so that every category of people can easily afford it.

Enormous Availability = An ideal fuel must be available enormously so that uts usage cannot cause much damage to its available quantities. Hence it can be used for longer time.

Lower Ignition Temperature = An ideal fuel must have lower ignition temperature so that less energy is waste in combustion of it.

High Calorific Value = An ideal fuel must have high calorific value so that more heat is produced in less quantities.

Easy Availability = An ideal fuel must be available easily in reach so that it can be properly used.

Less Residuals and Wastes = An ideal fuel must produce very less residue and waste and burn completely so that it doesn't cause problem of disposal.

Eco - Friendly = An ideal fuel must be eco friendly in nature so that its usage doesn't cause harm to people and environment.

★ More to know :-

Biogas , a compound of Hydrogen Sulphide, Methane, Hydrogen, etc., is considered a good ideal fuel .

Hydrogen and Methane have good calorific value and don't leave much residue on after combustion.

Gaseous fuels are most ideal, because they burn almost completely and leave very less residue while have high calorific value.
