Ideal Gas Equation. ... PV = nRT - this is known as equation of state of an ideal gas(or general gas law equation).

n is the number of moles of the gas and R is the gasconstant. P, V and T are the pressure, volume and the absolute temperature of the gasrespectively.

pV = nRT IS CALLED IDEAL GAS OF EQUATION.

WHERE ,

P = PRESSURE.

n = number of mole.

R = gas constant.

v= volume .

T = temperature in Kelvin.


= 0.0821 lit atm K^-1 mol-1.

= 8.314 k-^1mol-1.

=1.987 cal k^-1 mol^-1.
