➡ It is spherical in shape .

➡ It is usually located in the centre of the cell.

➡ It is a membrane bound structure which contains genetic material .

➡ It is the main cell organelle of the cell .

➡ Robert Brown discovered nucleus in the year 1831 .

➡ Nucleus is also known as the Control House Of The Cell because it controls all other cell organelles in the cell.

➡ It is covered by a layer called Nuclear Membrane which protects the inner parts .

➡ It contains a small pore called Nuclear Pore which allows the substance required for the cell or nucleus .

➡ Inside the nucleus it contains Nucleoplasm which is the base for genetic material .

➡ The main function of genetic material is to transfer the information from parents to offsprings .

➡ The cells which contains nucleus are Eukaryotic Cells .

Example ➡ WBC .

➡ The cells which do not contain nucleus are Prokaryotic Cells .

Example ➡ RBC and Blue , Green Algae .

 \huge \mathfrak {What happens if nucleus is not present in the cell ?}

➡ If there is no nucleus no control of the cell organelles .

➡ There will be no cell division of the cell .

➡ There is no long life to the cell .
