What is an organic evolution? It cannot be equated with progress. Explain with the help of a suitable example.

organic evolution. *Evolution is not exactly taking place from lower organisms to higher organisms but it can be related to the fact that higher and complex body forms evolved even when the low and simple forms are still existing. An individual also plays an important role in the evolutionary process.
