Organised Sector is a sector where the employment terms are fixed and regular, and the employees get assured work. Unorganised sector is one where the employment terms are not fixed and regular, as well as the enterprises, are not registered with the government.
BENEFITS ( ADVANTAGES ) OF ORGANISED SECTOR -
(i) Workers in the organised sector enjoy security of employment.
(ii) They work only for a fixed number of hours. If they work more, they have to be paid overtime by the employer.
(iii) They also get several other benefits from the employers like paid leave, payment during holidays, provident fund, gratuity, etc.
(iv) Provides health safety .
(v) On time payments
(vi) Provided with pensions
