An organization is a group of people who work together, like a neighborhood association, a charity, a union, or a corporation. Organization is also the act of forming or establishing something.

Structure is the organisation of the resources and assets and represents the division and distribution of work among members (managers and employees) of the organisation, and the co-ordination of their activities in such a way that they are directed towards achieving the declared goals.

There are 4 main types of business organization: sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, and Limited Liability Company, or LLC. Below, we give an explanation of each of these and how they are used in the scope of business law.
