THE REACTION TAKES PLACE IN IN ADDING OXYGEN IS KNOWN AS OXIDATION REACTION. IT IS EXOTHERMIC REACTION BECAUSE DURING THE REACTION HEAT IS EVOLVED.

C + O2= CO2.
