it is a simple permanent tissue ! that has no capabilities to divide ! it is supporting in nature ! found in almost all the soft parts of plant ! it has a living cell ,it also involved in photosynthesis from where it called chlorenchyma ! it help the aquatic plants to float so also called the arenchyma !

Parenchyma forms the bulk of the plant body. Parenchyma cells living and possess the power of division. The cells are rounded or isodiametric,i.e, equally expanded on all sides. The parenchymatous cells are oval, round , polygonal or enlongted in shape.
