Respiration in the absence of oxygen is called as anaerobic respiration
It occurs in yeasts and also in humans when there is lack of supply of adequate amount of oxygen
In humans products formed out of this respiration are carbon dioxide, water and lactic acid
But in Yeasts products are carbon dioxide, water and alcohol so these are ued in the production of alcohol in the industries through the process of fermentation.
