what is anaerobic respiration? give its reaction.

Those type of respiration which obtain in absence of oxygen is called anaerobic respiration.
Reaction=glucose + enzymes = carbon dioxide + ethanol / lactic acid.

Anaerobic means "without air " .the respiration which takes place without oxygen is called anaerobic respiration....
the microscopic organisms likr yeast and some bacteria obtain energy by anaerobic respiration.
the micro..organisms break down food.."glucose" into ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide and release energy...
Glucose+enzymes= carbon dioxide +ethynol /lactic acid...
