India is a vast country and one of the oldest civilizations, there are several things that were great about India. Firstly the knowledge of medicine of the ancient Indians. Ayurveda was the ancient discipline that made use of every known plant and plant part even poisonous ones. Plastic surgery, surgery and many other medical procedures were discovered in India.
