Tertiary activity is one of the economic activity. It typically refers to the service sector. Eg:- Transport, trade, communication, health, education and administration . These activities help in the development of primary and secondary sectors. These activities, by themselves, do not produce a good, but they are a support for the production process. So these are also known as the support services.
