It has well developed vascular system.

On the basis of cotyledons , it is classified in two categories

Monocot :

Having one cotyledons in their seed . Example : Banana , Bamboos etc.

Dicot :

Having two cotyledons in their seed . Example : Tomatoes , Potatoes .
