hello friend

The bank angle is the angle at which the vehicle is inclined about its longitudinal axis with respect to the horizontal.

When a turn is made by fast moving masses, the net resultant force due to friction and centrifugal forces, pushes the mass outward of its trajectory,to prevent this phenomena the roads, racing car lanes, railway lines are made higher on the outer side as compared to the inner side. This is called banking. The angle is defined as the arctan ( excess height of the upper side with the lower side as reference/width of the road).
