They have emotions, of course, but not the way we do, because they don't have the same cognitive abilities we do. If you think an animal is angry, it is likely just behaving exactly as that type of animal behaves, instinctually, and you are assuming wrongly that it has human cognitive abilities and must be angry. Also pretty likely you are feeling angry, and so you see it in others.
