Hey friend,

Here's your answer,

As the name suggests, Antagonistic muscles do antagonistic movement, that is, they create movement when one muscle contracts and the other one relaxes.

The prime quality of these muscles are that they always work in pairs. Antagonistic muscles oppose the action of one another.

EXAMPLES OF ANTAGONISTIC MUSCLES INCLUDE :-

1. The biceps and triceps in the arm.

2. Quadriceps and hamstrings in the legs.

Hope this helps!!!!
