Hi friend,

The creature in the story Blue Bead story by Norah Burke is a crocodile. It is a mugger crocodile. It is blackish brown above and yellowy white under and has a thick hide.He was twice the length of a tall man. He had a tail with unimaginable and irresistible power. His mouth, running almost the whole length of his head, was closed and fixed in that evil bony smile, and where the yellow underside came up to it, it was tinged green.

Hope it helps!

Answer:

The crocodile is described as “an antediluvian saurian, a prehistoric juggernaut, ferocious and formidable, a vast force in water, propelled by unimaginable and irresistible power of the huge tail”, suggests that he was a strong and dangerous animal.
