ABOUT ANTIGENS :-

• Antigen is a substance that triggers our immune system to construct antibodies to fight against it.
• An antigen could be in the form of anything , it can be in the form of virus , pathogens , bacterias , etc.

TYPES OF ANTIGENS :-

• There are basically 3 types of antingens

1. Autoantigens : The antigens which are produced by the host itself is known as autoantigens.
2. Exogenous : The antigens which acts as foreign material to the host immune system is known as Exogenous.
3. Endogenous : The antigens that is produced by the virus that is duplicated inside a host cell is called as endogenous.

LOCATION OF ANTIGENS :-

• They're present , particularly on the surface of red blood cells .
• However , the antibodies are manufactured by white blood cells.

EXTRA INFORMATION :-

• We can keep our immune system strong by adopting following measures :-

1. By not smoking.
2. Eating a diet which is full of fruits and vegetables.
3. By exercising regularly.
4. By getting adequate sleep.
5. If you're drinking alcohol , then drink in limit.
