apartheid is the system in which whites and blacks were segregated and racially discriminated.blacks were not allowed to enter the places where whites go.for eg:blacks could not enter the churches where whites worshipped in africa public places like washrooms,theatres, beaches,etc were separated. in africa whites were running  the government.
