aqua regia is the mixture of 1 part of HNO3 and 3 part of conc.Hcl
and produces nascent chlorine

Aqua regia is a mixture of 1 part of concentrated nitric acid and 3 parts of concentrated hydrochloric acid.
It's used to dissolve noble metals like gold and platinum...which really don't react that easily.
