pancrease is an organ located inside the abdomen. It plays an important role in converting the food we eat into fuel for the body cells. It had two main functions-the exocrine function that helps in the process of digestion and the endocrine function that resulted the level of sugar.

Function of the pancreas:-

  • The exocrine function:- This is responsible for the secretion of digestive enzymes,ions and water into the duodenum of the gastrointestinal tract.

  • The endocrine function:- These contain islets that create release of important hormones directly into the bloodstream .Two of the main pancreatic hormones are insulin which acts as a component to raise or lower the bliss sugar.
