Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: answer:90

from fig1 i.e. the biggest triangle..

Tan(theta)=5/15 = 1/3

Now for smaller triangle "theta remains the same..so tan(theta) = 1/3 and hypotenuse is 5. Hence the adjecent side is 15/sqrt(10) and opposite side 5/sqrt(10)

Hence its area is 15/4.

Now required area=Area of big sqaure - 4(Area of biggest triangle) +4( area of smallest triangle)

=15*15- 4(0.5*5*15)+4(15/4)

=225-150+15

=90

Answer:90

Step-by-step explanation:

Tan(theta)=5/15 = 1/3

Now for smaller triangle "theta remains the same..so tan(theta) = 1/3and hypotenuse is 5. Hence the adjacent side is 15/sq(10) and opposite side 5/sq(10)

Hence its area is15/4.

Now required area=Area of big sq - 4 (Area of biggest triangle) +4( area of smallest triangle)

=15*15- 4(0.5*5*15)+4(15/4)

=225-150+15

=90
