●Base and Corresponding HeightArea of Triangle = 0.5 × base × height
●All 3 side lengthsArea of Triangle = √(s × (s-a) × (s-b) × (s-c))
where s = (a + b + c)/2/●Equilateral Triangle with known side length = aArea of Triangle = (√3/4)a2Two sides – a & b & included anglesArea of Triangle = (1/2)(ab)sin(C)

Triangle :-

  • Triangle is a three sided polygon.
  • The all sides of Triangle are equal, if all sides are unequal it is said to be scalene Triangle.

Area of Triangle :-

  • The area of Triangle is defined as the total region is enclosed by three sides of Triangle
  • The formula is used to find area of triangle is, ½ × base × height

Example :-

What is the area of Triangle with b = 3cm and h = 4cm ?

  • Base = 3cm
  • Height = 4cm

Area of Triangle = ½ × base × height

  • By Substituting the values

½ × 4 × 3 = 2 × 3 = 6cm²
