What is aromatic and aliphatic

Answer: aromatic compounds are cyclic,conjugated pie system, and follow huckel's rule i.e 4n+π electrons..most common exmp is benzene which has 6pie electrons.

Where as aliphatic compunds are alkyl chain which may contain saturated or unsaturated carbon.

Ex we can take n-hexane,butene etc etc
