The Indian constitution has given a special status to the region of Jammu and Kashmir, allowing it to have a separate constitution, a state flag and autonomy over the internal administration of the state. But now, in 2019, the Article 370 has been revoked by our honoured PM Shri Narendra Modi.

Article 30 of the Indian constitution proclaims that, the All minorities, whether or not they are based on religion or on language, they shall have the right to establish and administer educational institutions of their own choices and Rights.

Article 370 :
This Article had been added in the Indian constitution in 1949, Which was aimed to make the state Jammu and Kashmir, an indivisible part of India, and to give it a special status.
After Independence, the country had to face a division on the basis of two main religion, The and and The . All the states were free to join India, Pakistan or to make their own independent state. The then king of Jammu and Kashmir principality, Maharaja Hari Singh, wanted to make it a independent country. But Pakistan did not want to loose this majority state. So it attacked there. Now the king had just one option to save his state. He became ready to join India. He want to make sure that his citizens will not get any problem in the Hindu majority country. So, he proposed some pacts in the Indian Constitution assembly. It is to be noticed that he cleared that these pacts will be for a period of time. In the Round Table Conference, 1931, he clearly said that they will become a part of India when it becomes an independent state.
It is to be noticed that the this Article goes just opposite of it's initial aim.
Article 370 includes the following rules :
▫◽ The citizens have two citizenship, one is of Kashmir and other is of India.
▫◽The state has it's own constitution and national flag.
▫◽ Unlike rest of the state, the State Assembly's Tenure is of 6 years, which is 5 years in rest of the states.
▫◽ The Union government has to take permission from the state government to make any law except country safety, foreign, and Transport issues.
▫◽ If any woman of Jammu and Kashmir marries with a Indian citizen, she loses her jammu Kashmir's citizenship. On the other hand if she marries with a Pakistani her husband will also get the Jammu Kashmir's citizenship.
▫◽Right to information, Right to education and CAG are not valid their.
▫◽The state follows RPC (Ranbir Penal Code)
not the IPC (Indian Penal Code).
▫◽ Any other state's citizen can't vote their.
▫◽ All the orders made by Supreme Court are not vadil.
▫◽ Unlike rest of the country, disrespect of any Indian symbol, Indian flag is not a punishable offence
Later Article 30A was applied on 14 May, 1954. This was added by the First Amendment of Indian constitution, 10 May 1951.
▫◽ This make it illegal to purchase any property by any other state's citizen in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
