ASSERTIVE SENTENCE:-

When something is declared or stated it is called an Assertive sentence.These type us also known as Declarative sentence. Sentences start with subject and end with full stop (.).

Example :- The shop will remain close on account of Janta Curfew.

NOTE:-

• The reporting word will be changed to said, said to or told.

• Conjunction "that" is used connect two part (within invert commas and the part outside inverted commas)

EXAMPLES:-

1) Mayank said,"I am not attending class today"

Ans - Mayank said that he was not attending class today.

2) Seema said to her father, "I have bought new glasses for you".

Ans - Seema told her father that she had bought new glasses for him.
