Answer:

A common imperfection in the eye's curvature.Contact Lenses

Toric lenses are made to bend light in a direction to correct astigmatism. In more severe cases of astigmatism, an eye doctor may recommend a gas-permeable, rigid contact lens instead of soft toric lenses. ... Patients wear Ortho-K rigid lenses for a period of time to reshape the cornea curvature.

Hi friend_______,

★ In this defect, the eye cannot see parallel and horizontal lines clearly.

★ It may be inherited or acquired.

★ It is due to the imperfect structure of eye lens due to the development of cataract on the lens, ulceration of cornea, injury to the refracting surfaces etc..

★ It is corrected by cylindrical lenses (Torrid lenses).

Thank you..
