What is athma and paramathma?

Reflection of Parmatma or God within us is Atma. Just like Moon shines by reflection of the light. Similarly God sees Himself in us as Spirit or Atma. Aatma is the soul or simply your soul while parmatma is the soul to which all the souls in the world are attached.
