The earth is a unique planet . Its capacity to support life makes it different from all other planets . The earth is surrounded by an envelope of air which is called the atmosphere .

The Atmosphere is very useful to living beings on the earth . In fact , atmosphere is one of the necessary components of the biosphere and without air life would not have been possible on our planet .

There are four types of different layers of the atmosphere are as follows :-

\bold\purple{1. \:Troposphere\: \pink→} The Troposphere is the lowest and the densest layer of the atmosphere . Almost all dust particles and water vapours are contained in it . Thus , all weather phenomena occur in which layer .

\bold\blue{2. \: Stratosphere\: \orange→} Stratosphere is the second layer of the atmosphere . Most the ozone of the atmosphere is contained in this layer . Long distance aircrafts fly in the lower part of the stratosphere .

\bold\red{3. \:Mesosphere\: \green→} Mesosphere is the third layer & lies above the stratosphere . This laya protects us from the meteors which create damage on the surface of the earth . The mesosphere has coldest temperature in the atmosphere .

\bold\pink{4. \: Thermosphere\: \blue→} It lies above the mesosphere .

It can divided into two parts :-

\sf\blue{(1) \: Ionosphere \: →} Ionosphere is a part of thermosphere and this layer reflects radio signals back to the earth thus making radio communications possible .

\sf\red{(2) \: Exoxphere \: →} The upper portion of the thermosphere is called exoxphere . Air in exoxphere is extremely thin light weight of ashes like hydrogen and helium are present in this layer .
