Atmosphere is a sea of gases surrounding the  earth.being composed of gases,the atmosphere exhibits all the properties of gases - it compresses and expands and it has no shape.atmosphere consists of  about 21 percent of oxygen,78 percent of nitrogen, and 0.003 percent of other gases.
Atmosphere is divided into two broad layers: Homosphere , Heterosphere.
Homosphere is divided into three layers : Troposphere,stratosphere,mesosphere.
