What is atmospheric refraction use this phenomena to explain the following natural events
1) twinkling of stars with the help of diagram.

this is due to the fine particles which remains in our atmosphere and also due to distance

The refraction of light caused by the earths atmosphere ( having air layers of varying optical density) is called atmospheric refraction.

1) changing atmosphere refracts the light from the stars by different ammount at every moment . It makes us see the stara twinkling.
