What is atomic mass?
the mass of an atom of a chemical expressed in atomic mass.
it can be also called as "single atom".
it includes only one isotopes at a time..
for example - lithium atomic mass is 6.
what is valency?
the combining power of an element, measured by the number of hydrogen atom, it can be combine with it..
The valency of an element is the number of hydrogen atoms that can combine with or can be replace.
or we can say,
the property of atoms/groups are equal to the number of atoms of hydrogen so that the atom/group can be combine or replace in the forming of compound
for example - carbon has a valency of 4.
thanks

The mass of an atom is known as atomic mass. It is the mass of the nucleus. It is equal to the mass number(P+N).
Combining capacity is known as valency . It denotes the number of electron give , gain or share during chemical reaction. It ranges from 0-4. The valency has no charge .
