Atomic mass is the number of protons plus the number of neutrons in an atom.

Atomic mass unit : is the unit for measurement of atomic mass of atoms of all elements.   An amu is equal to 1/12 of the mass of carbon 12 atom.

Hello Mate !!

ATOMIC MASS :-----

It is the mass of an atom of a substance and it is expressed in amu.

Atomic Mass = R.A.M × 1 amu.

NOTE :-- In practice, relative atomic mass is nothing but the number of nucleons Present in the atom.

ATOMIC MASS UNIT :------

The atomic mass unit (amu) is equal to one twelfth (1/12) of the mass of one atom of carbon-12 isotope.

= 1 amu = 1/12×mass of one C-12 atom.

≈mass of one nucleon in C-12 atom.

= 1.66 × 10^-24gm or 1.66×10^-27kg.

ONE AMU IS ALSO CALLED ONE DALTON (Da). NOW-A-DAYS, AMU HAS BEEN REPLACED BY "u" WHICH IS KNOWN AS UNIFIED MASS.
