the radius of the atom where there is a nucleus and electrons revolve the radius is measured from mid of nucleus to the outer shell of electron orbit

The atomic radii is defined as the distance between the nucleus and the last shell of an atom.

As we move left to right in a period, the atomic radius decreases. This is so because, as we move left to right, the number of protons increases, hence the positive charge increases. This tends to pull the shells closer to the nucleus. Hence, the size decreases.
