Atomicity:-

It is defined as the number of atoms in the given molecule of an element or a compound.

Eg:- H_2 molecule has 2 hydrogen atoms.

So, it is divalent molecule.

Atomicity is defined as the number of atom(s) present in a molecule.

for example,

atomicity of CO2(carbon dioxide) is
1 + 2*1
=1+2
=3(answer)
