here is your answer.....

Atomicity is the number of atoms of an element present in one molecule of that element.

For example, there are 2 atoms of hydrogen present in H2 molecule so it atomicity is 2.

The number of atoms in the molecules of an element is known as atomicity.

For eg

1) Atomicity of oxygen (O2) is 2 because 2 atoms of oxygen are present in this molecule.

2) Atomicity of CO2 is 3 because 3 atoms are present ( 1 of carbon and 2 of oxygen).
