hi dere,
autonomic nervous system is a system which operates automatically or involuntarily , it includes all those responses against the stimuli which are not under the control of animal(involuntary actions)
it is divided into-
1.sympathetic nervous system.-fight or flight response
2.parasympathetic nervous system. -sexual arousal,, lacrimation, urination,etc.
3.enteric nervous system-governs the function of gastrointestinal act.
