heya, buddy !!

➦ Autotrophic – Plants are called as the primary producer as they exhibit autotrophic nutrition. Also, plants synthesize their food by using light, carbon dioxide, and water.

➦Heterotrophic – Under this category, animals and human beings are included as they depend on plants for their food.

We know that, the Certain plants and bacteria contain green pigment i.e. chlorophyll which helps in synthesizing food, whereas some plants, animals, and bacteria depend on others for food as they lack photosynthetic apparatus

Hope it's helps !

Answer:

autotrophic nutrition:

  • Usually members of the plant kingdom and certain unicellular organisms like cyanobacteria
  • Autotrophs are producers which prepare their own food.
  • These can be classified as photoautotrophs and chemoautotrophs
  • The chloroplast helps in preparing food.

They obtain energy from inorganic sources by converting light energy into chemical energy

heterotrophic nutrition:

  • All members of the animal kingdom
  • Heterotrophs are the consumers who depend on other sources for their food.
  • These can be classified as photoheterotrophs and chemoheterotrophs
  • They do not contain chloroplast, so cannot prepare food.
