Auxins:-

Auxins are the plant hormones.

Plants produce natural auxins such as Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and Indole butyric acid (IBA).

Effects:-

1. Promote flowering in plants like pineapple.

2.Help to initiate rooting in stem cuttings.

3. Prevent dropping of fruits and flowers too early.

4. Control xylem differentiation and help in cell division.

Gibberellins:-

Gibberellin is the other plant hormone that promotes the elongation of cells.

Effect:-

1.Gibberellin only promotes the growth of the intact shoot.

2. It also enhances the development of leaves.

3.Gibberellin stimulates the internode of the dwarf plants.
