Average Kinetic Energy for 1 mole of any gas  =  (3/2)nRT                                                     (n= no. of moles, R= universal constant, T= Temperature)

R  = 8.314 J K-1 mole-1

T  =  300 K

n = 1 mole

so KE is given by = 32×1×8.314 J K−1 mole−1×300 K= 3741 J mole−1

Hope it helped you :)

Answer:

Hey there !

Solution:

Formula used for calculating average kinetic energy is as follows:

3 / 2 nRT

Where,

n = Number of moles

R = Gas constant

T = Temperature

According to the question,

n = 1 mole

R = 8.314 J / mol

T = 300 K

Substituting them in the formula we get,

Avg Kinetic Energy = 3 / 2 ( 1 * 8.314 * 300 )

=> Avg Kinetic Energy = 3 / 2 * 2494.2

=> Avg Kinetic Energy = 3741.3 or 3741 J ( Approx )

Hope my answer helped
