average speed and average velocity is same thing but the difference is that speed is a scalar quantity and velocity is a vector quantity (i.e. have direction also)
e.g. for speed:- bike is moving with 40km/h
e.g. for velocity:- bike is moving with 40km/h in east

Examples of both are
Average speed= A body is moving and has a speed of 25 miles per hour.

Average velocity= A body has a velocity of 25 miles per hour due east.
