Azeotropic mixture is the mixture of two or more liquids whose proportion cannot be altered by simple distillation .
There are two types of Azeotropes.
1- Minimum Boiling Azeotrope : It is nothing but Positive deviation from Raoult’s Law.
2- Maximum Boiling Azeotrope: It is Negative deviation from Raoult’s Law.

An azeotropic mixture is the one on which there is no effect of further heating after reaching a particular temperature and the proportion of the constituents of the mixture remains the same after attaining a particular temperature.
