Azeotropic mixture:- In chemistry there are some liquids which on mixing results to formation of azeotropes that is known as binary mixture but will having the same composition in the both liquid & vapour phase.

Some points on azeotropic mixture are as follows:-

1. No further separation will occur in case of constant temperature & having same composition.

2. By the help of azeotropic distillation components form azeotrope can be separated.

3. Most important point that we can separate components by process of fractional distillation.

4. Postive showing deviation is indirectly proportional to the azeotrope.
