\underline{\underline{\sf{Balanced\:chemical\: equation:-}}}It is a short hand representation of the reactions using symbols and formulae of substances involved in the chemical reaction with the same number of each kind of atoms on both sides of the equation.

☞The balancing of equation is based on the Law of Conservation of Mass.

☞According to this law, in an ordinary chemical reaction :- Matter can't be created nor can it be destroyed.

☞This means that atoms may change patterns to form other substances but don't disappear nor do new atoms suddenly appear i.e. atoms are conserved in a chemical reaction.

\underline{\sf{Examples:-}}

Zn + H2SO4 {\implies{\sf{}}}ZnSO4 + H2

CaCO3 + 2HCl {\implies{\sf{}}} CaCl2 + H2O + CO2
