What are a ball and socket joint?

  • The ball and attachment joint (or spheroid joint) is a sort of synovial joint where the ball-molded surface of one adjusted bone squeezes into the cup-like despondency of another bone.
  • The distal bone is fit for movement around an endless number of tomahawks, which have one normal community.
  • This empowers the joint to move in numerous bearings.  An enarthrosis is a unique sort of spheroidal joint where the attachment covers the circle past its equator.
