bamboo drip irrigation system for irrigating plants has been in use for 200 years in the hilly state of meghalaya
it is old system of tapping steam amd spring water by using bamboo pipes.about 18-20litres water enters the bamboo pipe system.gets transported over hundreds of metres and finally reduces to 29-18drops per minute at the site of the plant.
