➡BASE :- base is the side of the triangle other than perpendicular and hypotenuse... or you can say the side which is usually on the down side of the triangle( which acts as a base of triangle).
⚫it is common in other geometric shapes like rectangle as well.

➡ALTITUDE :- as altitude means height, so is the case in maths. altitude means the height of particular geometric shape ie either triangle, or trapezium...or any other shape.
⚫it is also called perpendicular.
⚫altitude is perpendicular to the line containing the base.
